My first memories of Jerry are of a big kid on a beat up yellow moped cruzing up and down Jethve Ave. where I used to hang out. My other friends did not care for Jerry and we rarely spoke back then but as we both got older and I got a moped of my own, I got to know him as a friend. Later; in high school Jerry traded in the moped for a 1973 Dodge Coronet that had once been a police car. That car was pretty ugly back then but the 400ci police interceptor engine more than compensated. We used to take late night rides in that car way out to truck stops where we would look for lot lizzards which we never found. I would get a twelve pack of beers but he would only drink 2 or 3 because he was driving. We spent many hours working on that old car and every now and then he would get a hold of some home made wine to motivate me; the Schottelotte home made wine is the only wine that I ever enjoyed. Jerry would tell me that we should start a mobile oil change or a lawn mower repair service together and I would Scoff at the idea; but guess what I do these days when my regular job is slow...... I provide an on site mower repair service. Thanks for being my freind and putting that idea into my head way back then; I regret falling out of touch. Mopar rules!!!

Jerry, "SCHOTTS" Will always be in memories of my youth in the 1980's when all we cared about were bigger engines and longer burn outs. Rest in peace in Mopar Heaven my old friend.
