To the family of Mary John Baxter, I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mary John. She was an exceptional person who influenced the lives of many children for good. I remember "Miss Baxter" as my 7th and 8th grade teacher. She made science so much fun and we learned so much from her in-class experiments. I also remember her coaching all the girls' sports at St. Margaret. She organized all the athletic dinners and awards, putting in so much time, all for "her kids." Later, she taught my children and they loved her as much as I did. I will never forget all the hard work she put in as chair of our St. Margaret festival. My husband would always say he'd do anything for Mary John! It's impossible to put into words how much Mary John has meant to so many people or how much she gave of herself for everyone else. She was a wonderful, selfless, classy and beautiful lady. My family and I will miss her very much. Please take comfort in knowing that she is with God. I will keep Mary John and your family in my prayers. Kathy Keeney
