We knew Mrs. Sauer through her son Sean, who is one of our dearest friends. We had the pleasure of getting to know her and Mr. Sauer when they visited Philadelphia to see their grandchildren. She was so warm, welcoming, intelligent, funny and a pleasure to spend some time with. I have fond memories of laughing with them and Sean's family while sharing a meal or playing with the children at Liam's 2nd birthday party. Our hearts are heavy for the entire Sauer family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Sauer and his sons, and their families. We are so sorry for your tremendous loss.
