To Dallas's family,
I have lived across the street for 4 years and during the first 3 years, Dallas would come over while we were working in our yards and share all kinds of family and war stories. He was so friendly and was always good for a few jokes that made my day! He was so meticulous about his yard, I told him he made me feel guilty if I wasn't out trying to make mine look as good...never could but loved looking at his from my front porch.
I was so happy he had his sons & daughter in law to take care of him once he started to have troubles.
I was so sorry last year when I didn't see him walking with Macy or picking at every little weed in his yard to make me look bad. I just knew something wasn't right.
My sincere sympathy to all of you. I don't really know his family but I sure did enjoy visiting with Dallas and will always remember the day he left me hand picked flowers on my porch table from his garden! I so miss his stories! I am so sorry for your loss!
