What an incredibly warm, funny, and genuine lady the world has lost. She was a blessing to many people, with a unique gift of connecting in a meaningful way with everyone she met. She leaves a giant void in the lives of her children, grandchildren and siblings. I'm grateful to have known her, and even more grateful for her faith in the Lord - I know I will meet her again.

There are no words to say goodbye to you Mama Phyllis.I grieve with your family and ask the Lord to comfort them all. We got along very fast and became friends from the first day I came to take care of you in your home as your caregiver, you made me feel very comfortable coming from different backgrounds and cultures. You spoke kindly about me to everyone, and looked out for me. I saw you radiate when you spoke about your family, they were your world. I learned so much from you about dedication, kindness, caring, giving, had good laughs over many jokes, acceptance of difficult situations without complaints and still had a smile on your face.
When I saw you in March, it was a good reunion for an hour and half, you still had your radiance. Still in shock mama.
You are now free from pain and pills, enjoy your rest with your maker, God Almighty whom we reverenced together, and has welcomed you home. I will surely miss you mama Phyllis. Good night dear friend.

I never met Phyllis but heard so much about her that I feel like I did. She must have been a wonderful lady and I am so sorry for your loss. Remember that she is still watching all of you and her expectations have not change. I bet she's wondering what all the fuss is about . All the best to you and your beautiful family.

I grieve with your family, and wish you peace in this time of sorrow. Like yourselves, I have many fond memories of Mama Perk, and after so many years of illness, I find comfort in thoughts of her being free of pills, pain, and now being able to enjoy a spiritual rest.
Deepest condolences, Lonnie

There are no words to say goodbye to Phil. For over 45 years I have known her, she was a sister to me, my Children's second Mother, an incredible human. Never complaining, always giving, always caring. How many incredible fun times around the table we shared, the talks we had. Jamie, Brett and I will miss you Phil, we love you.
