MEYER
Bonnie (nee Harrison), passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2015. Beloved wife for 52 years of Daniel J. Meyer, cherished mother of Daniel P. (Amy) Meyer, and Jennifer (Bill) Brunette. Devoted grandmother of Paul, Matthew and Amanda Meyer, and Margot, Jimmy and Victoria Brunette, and loving sister of David Harrison of Cary, NC.
Born in Hartford City, Indiana, in May, 1939, a graduate of Butler University and member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Formerly a high school English teacher, Bonnie enjoyed reading books to patients at Children’s Hospital and writing poems and letters of remembrance to dear friends and family. Devoted champion of, and biggest cheerleader for, her grandchildren, be it on the field or court, in the rink or on the stage. Loyal member of PEO and a leader in her Kindervelt chapter. Enjoyed traveling and cruising with friends and family. Long time member of Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati and Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Frequently heard singing the refrain with her grandchildren, “It’s Skyline Time”. Family burial will be private. Friends are invited to attend a service in her honor on Tuesday, September 29, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Church, 2501 Riverside Drive (45202). Memorial contributions in memory of Bonnie Meyer may be made to the Stepping Stones Summer One-on-One Program for Children with Autism.
