Dear Muriel:
Sorry to hear about George. Always enjoyed connecting with him at the History Museum--and occasionally when we crossed paths with both of you at the University Club and once, I think, at the Woman's Club. Glad to see his steamboat captain and surveyor characters mentioned in the obituary. He enjoyed doing that, and I enjoyed having him doing it while I was doing my own. Please accept my sympathy on his passing.
