Lou Ann, friends for years. How I wish I had known! Patricia and Michael and your son, now grown. I might have missed a daughter. Don't know you but send you my prayers.
And Don, you I know and I send you encouragement and comfort. We go all the way back to Contact Queen City, your mom and I. Lunches at the Arby's that used to be Pizza Hut. Sneaking down the lane toward Thomas Merton's hermitage at Gethsemane Monastery in KY. Greater Cincinnati Poetry League.
I especially remember when we attended a Krystallnacht memorial, at Hillel House, and how our hearts were opened to the enormity of the children lost in the Holocaust. Rabbi Abie Ingbar, so surprised that Christians would come to honor this time in history. Those are some of the good moments, Lou Ann, honored friend. May the Lord bless and keep you forever.+
