Goodbye old friend. I have so many happy memories of the good times we spent together: attending Madeira Junior and Senior High Schools; MHS marching band; the hundreds of Charteroak Stationary Marching Concert Band concerts we played in; Reds baseball games; late nights spent watching Bob Shreve's Past Prime Playhouse on TV; the good times we spent with the MHS "gang"; the many, lengthy talks we had exploring any and all imaginable subjects; - all the good times. You will not be forgotten.
May God bless, comfort, and support the Saum family in this time of loss.

Jim was a very dedicated member of our group. Jim when on the tuba played all low registered solos. He always helped us recruit new members from Madeira High School. For more then 10 years he made sure every member was aware of our goal of 500 performances. When Jim was playing his tuba we were never amiss listening to his mellow tones. All band members who see this are invited to friend me on Facebook. Robert Seifert. Conductor
