Many childhood memories of cousin Carole and the Jansen family. She was one of my Mom's flower girls and later became very close to her before moving to Ohio. I'm so sorry for your loss, however, relieved that she no longer suffers with the pains and discomforts associated with her illness, I too lost my brothers Ron and John through complications from Kidney disease and saw it's effect on their families as they cared for them. May the anticipation of your grand reunion with her and all those who have passed before her, give you solace during this time of distress. I'm sure her shining smile will be missed by many, may God rest her soul...

Dear Sis, I couldn't believe it when my daughter called and told me you died. I was in total shock. Sissy, I am so sorry but Jay will soon leave this journal also and my everything has been so focused on him and us. After 50 yrs together this is so devastating for me. We've been so happy together. I know you have been sick and in a lot of pain and I've been so sad to hear this. However, Big Sis, I just felt like other times you would beat this. I just don't understand, Sis what happened. In my heart I believe you were so tired. You've been dealing with those darn kidney issues for so many years. I sat on the phone with you on 9/11 when our country was in a state of shock. You were in so much pain and scared. I believe that was the beginning of a long fight for you, A lot of pain and many other problems which popped up. Carole, I am grateful for all the days you fought since that gave us time to spend with you. We arranged for you to come to Milwaukee and surprise our Mother on Thanksgiving. We all cried as mom was so shocked and laughed at the same time. You spent 2 or 3 more visits with us. We had a wonderful time each time and it was great because you really got to know my family. We all love you and will miss you I am thankful your suffering is over. You will now be showing your beautiful smile always. GOD BLESS YOU DEAR SISTER. Until we meet again. . . We also send our deepest sympathy to my nieces and nephews:Jeffrey,Kimberly,Nicole and Corey. to all my Great Nieces and Nephew and to my Precious Great,Great Nephew, you are adoreable and my Precious Newborn Great,Great Niece. You are beautiful.

To all of Carole Ann's, Cincinnati OH. family.
So few are the words that I could say to comfort you.
Carole Ann was very much loved by all her Wisconsin relatives: Grand parents Peterson, and Janssen, the many Aunts and Uncles and cousins; many who have welcomed her on her journey with the Lord. I remember how she loved being a St. Mary's Academy, Milwaukee WI. student, and being at her graduation.
God bless each of you, as you continue with your lives, remember the love she had for each of you, so easily expressed while on this earth.

I'm so sorry to hear of Carole's transition but so very grateful that we crossed paths. My whole world went topsy turvey as a result of our meeting and to this day, still is.Carole had to work with me quite a bit about 'did I want to be right or happy?' I finally chose happy but it was a genuine struggle. Wow, just thank you for everything.

My condolences to the immediate, and extended family. There's many! She'll be dearly missed. Carole's legacy will live on. She was a mentor and fixture to myself, and countless others in recovery and life in general. A very humble and endearing person. Never a harsh word, and never judged a soul. Nothing but compassion. She was a dear friend. My favorite saying of her's over the years was this...
If your green you grow, and if your ripe, you'll rot! Never truer words.
Love,
Tim W.
