Obituary of Elizabeth T. Niehaus

Elizabeth Taylor Niehaus, 87, died on October 15, 2018 at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her son R. Douglas Niehaus, and her parents Ruth and Howard Taylor.  She is survived by her sister, Carol Kenner of Lexington Ky, and Carol’s children Mark Kenner of Richmond Ky, Laura Thompson of Lexington Ky, and Tara Dunn of Oviedo, Fl. Also by Bertsche and Blackwell nieces and nephews by marriage (Jill Bertsche Mitchell, Ken Bertsche, Scott Blackwell, Karen Blackwell Smith, Carol Blackwell Kosla and Michael Blackwell)  who all called her “Aunt Betty”. Betty loved to quilt and needlepoint and left us many beloved treasures.   She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, and practiced nursing in many locations, including Eaglebrook School in Deerfield Mass, and ending with many years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
