Dear Cedillo Family,
I taught Alex religious ed at St. Gert’s for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I had the pleasure of seeing him every Sunday during that time. I don’t remember all the kids, but Alex is one that I do for sure. Alex was always a pinch early, which meant he got to help me and my son Henry set up the class. He clearly enjoyed helping me, and I greatly appreciated his assistance. During class, he was one of my consistent participators—which I once again greatly appreciated! I can picture him right his minute, sitting at his desk, big brown eyes on me, with a sprinkling of freckles across his nose. He was such a great listener!
Your loss is unimaginable. Know that I am praying earnestly for your beautiful family, and also know how grateful I am that my path crossed with Alex’s!
