Mr. Forney was an Outstanding Landlord in my time of trouble with a harassing tenant. He protected me and I will be forever grateful for his actions.

My Mom and I are so sorry to read that Ferd has passed. He was such a kind and humble man. Enjoyed visiting with him at Sunday Mass. He was a good man to many, and will be missed. We appreciate his service, both as a soldier and as a Knight.

One of the last of our law school class still remaining, I will think of "Ferd" whenever I pass burnet ave. Heintroduced me to the fact that burnet does go south of Wm. H. Taft. He was also part of a telephone link we had in Germany: me (Marvin) in Schwetzingen, Burt Eiselein in Heidelberg. Don Bolsinger somewhere with tanks near the the east/west border and Ferd with the 7th army,I think in Stuttgart. The Army made good use of these four lawyers as enlisted men for 2 years. We kept up our friendship on return to Cincinnati. I am proud and fortunate to have known Ferd who but for law school I would not have known even though we both lived in Cincinnati for most of our lives

One of the last of our law school class.
One of the last remaining of our law school class of '54, I will always remember "Ferd" as low key, friendly and he who introduced me to the fact that Burnet Avenue went south of Reading Road If my memory hasn't failed he was part of a telephone link we had in the army in Germany. Me (Marvin) in Schwetzingen, Burt Eiselein in Heidelberg, Don Bolsinger with armored troops in northern Germany,all lawyers serving as enlisted men, who returned to Cincinnati to practice law and periodically get together. "Ferd" was a good man. I was privileged to be his friend!
