My great grandma was truly a gift to the world. Her spirit will love on in each and every one of her loved ones, and she will be another angel watching over us all. I could not be more thankful to have had her in my life as long as I did. Rest in heaven beautiful. ❤️

The picture I am posting is my favorite picture I have of her on her 90th birthday! She is getting ready to do jello shots! Her smile exemplifies how she lived! Full of energy and a zest for fun and adventure! My favorite memory is when I was a little kid I was with her in the kitchen on Roanoke street. She was standing by the radio and she had a cup of coffee in her hand and held it up to her mouth but she did not take a drink! She was standing still and I looked closer and her eyes were closed!! I realized she was asleep!! I thought that was the coolest thing that Aunt Johnnie could sleep standing up!!! I loved to be at her house because there was always so much energy and fun going on! Paul and Willie would come in on Friday nights and Paul shared white castles with me. JoAnn was getting ready for prom and I couldn't wait to grow up and wear my hair like hers and wear high heels to my prom just like her! WSAI was always on the radio in the kitchen! Ms. Foppe was upstairs and Uncle Vic would have his salad every night in that kitchen. There were always butter cookies in the kitchen. Thank you Aunt Johnnie for the wonderful memories of growing up in a family like ours and for growing up in your kitchen! I love you!!
