I learned to know Elmer through the machine tool business. On one occasion we travelled to Texas to inspect three LeBlond lathes. Although it was a business trip, it was an enjoyable time for learning more about machine tools and associating with a Godly man.
Numerous times in our business association and friendship we would meet at a restaurant. Before eating he would say "Let me say a little something" and then he would pray the blessing.
I will miss Elmer but not the memories of the times we shared together. Sympathy and Blessings to the Tudor family.

Elmer was such a great guy. After I graduated from the apprentice school, I worked with him in the 60’s. Always an upright and honest man, a pleasure to know. Condolences to the family.

I knew "Elm" at Milacron when he was an SPE and our desks were next to each other. He was a thoughtful man with a sense of humor and a deep faith. We attended a night school class together at UC when we were both getting our MBA's. At that time he was building his house in Madeira by the park, and every time I am in that area I think of Elm. I was so glad that his machine tool sales company prospered and admired him for taking the plunge. Good memories endure.

Elmer truly did live for family, faith and machine tools. In the many hours that I spent with Elmer on machine tool business, he spoke of all. Whether academic or sports achievements of children or grandchildren or acquaintances at church or Cincinnati Milacron, he covered all the topics and loved life at work or home.
He was proud of his family and his professional status as a "Grinding machine expert" but above all, he was a people person. Customers, associates or friends were always welcome to call or stop by to discuss a machine problem, future purchase or just catch up.
I learned a lot from Elmer and will never forget him as many others.
