Q: What 3 words best describe John and why?
A: John was a FRIEND to everyone. The Will Rogers quote, "I never met a man I didn't like", describes his attitude perfectly. He was also KIND. Just one example, there was a resident who was struggling to walk due to arthritis pain. She wanted to get on the senior bus but she was last in line. John noticed her discomfort and called her to the front of the line. That was very considerate. He was also DEDICATED to making seniors' lives better. With his concern, respect and compassion, John made a wonderful impact on our lives.

I am very sorry for your loss. John was a great coworker and friend, always going the extra mile for the people he worked with. He was a dedicated father and husband and really took pride in his family. I remember all the late nights at the call center, John working a full shift, getting a few hours sleep and then back at it, taking kids to school, coaching or attending day time management meetings. He never complained and was always a source of fresh ideas and inspiration. He will be truly missed.

We were so shocked to hear this news and offer our deepest condolences to Sandi and the kids. God has another angel by his side now. We did not see John often because he dedicated his life to his kids but we remained close and our memories always went back to me sneaking him beer or me locking him in a closet while I was babysitting him cuz he was such pain! LOL. We loved you John, our memories of you will never fade. God bless you.
