Darlynne was a kind and patient teacher. My daughter had her at Mariemont. In addition to the wonderful Thanksgiving play we have fond memories of the Maypole in the spring and a visit to her home after “winning” a day with her in the carnival auction. Thank you, Darlynne. You were one of Marcy’s favorite teachers. She was lucky to have you.

Darlynne was an amazing person and I feel so blessed that our paths crossed! She taught both our boys, at a very young age to swim. when she gave lessons at the Y in Anderson Township. Darlynne absolutely adored children!!! Her love for children always reminded me of my mom, who also taught kindergarten and first grade. She and I met when I worked at Sears Beauty Salon in Eastgate Mall and we instantly became friends! I cut Todd and Amy’s hair when they were in high school. It has been fun to watch her children grow up and become parents as well. Darlynne adored her children and she loved sharing stories with me! Amy & the girls would come to get haircuts often at the same time. I loved those times together! She will be truly missed by many! Darlynne has a beautiful family and wonderful friends! I will cherish the fun memories forever!
