Kevin...Not just a man. A Veteran, proud father and an all around true American. Kevin was my cousin whom I grew up with. From Cincinnati to the farm, it's all great memories. My fondiest memories is when Kevin came out to Nebraska and spent time with my family, and with Ferd. We rode 4-wheelers, fished and had a big time. The best of all memories was taking Kevin to the Sturgis Rally. He was amazed at the number of people and motorcycles, and experienced first hand, the fun at such an event. To a great person and my Cousin. See you someday, of God's chosing. Marty O'Connor

I remember it like it was just the other day that our Aunt Martha Jane & Uncle Clancey Muchmore had an O'Connor reunion at their home. Kevin and I were getting ready to ship out for our respective bootcamps. I was leaving for Marine Corps bootcamp at the end of August 1978, and Kevin was leaving for Naval bootcamp two weeks after me. My mom, Betty, had a picture of Kevin and I posed with Aunt Martha Jane and a cake she'd orderd for us as the O'Connor's all prayed for us, and celebrated our new beginings we each were about to embark upon as we both cut that cake together. In my mind's eye I can still see Kevin and I running around creating havoc at family reunions. Uncle Ed Mahoney would call out Kevin's name, very sternly, reeling him in and my Dad would send my older cousin, Karen Sue Mahoney, out after me, so Dad could sit me down for a time out. Lots of great memories stowed away in my head of our Uncle Fr. Jim O'Connor, Grandma Grace O'Connor and the rest of the huge O'Connor family. My cousin, Kevin was a cherished son, brother, father, husband and veteran. We hang in waiting on this, Kevin - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. Brotherly love, FX O'Connor, Jr.

One of my favorite memories were our trips to Mack’s Market to get my pretzel rod! I would sit on your shoulders with my pretzel in one hand, and pointing at the planes with the other.
I made a bit of a mess as crumbs from my pretzel fell on your head, but you didn’t seem to mind. The crumbs only added to the charm of the moment.
I love you Uncle Kenny

Q: What will you never forget about Kevin?
A: Melissa, I did not get to officially meet Kevin. However, I know how much you wanted him to walk you down the aisle on your wedding day. So much so that you waited until he was healthy enough to do this for his amazingly beautiful daughter! Sitting in the congregation watching the two of you walk together towards your future made me cry, tears of poetic JOY. I know you miss him and will continue to do so for the rest of your life BUT know that he will always be with you. Love, Barb+

1977 Purcell HS dance when we met Meg and her friends for the first time. I drove the Silver Bullet and tossed the keys to you so I could sit in the back with Meg, but she jumped in the front passenger seat. Not all bad since I ended up with 2 girls in the back seat. So damn funny.
Can’t share details but Kevin knows what they mean.

Q: How did you meet Kevin?
A: We met at Purcell High School and became very good friends. We made unforgettable memories through our friendship. Kevin was very close to my brother, Greg Johnson. One of my favorite memories was with Kevin ,my brother Greg and me at the ZZ Top concert a few years ago. Since Kevin returned home to Cincinnati we would meet regularly for lunch , hang out at the local gun shop and shooting range. We where so happy that Kevin was able to
go to the NRA show with us In Indianapolis a few weeks ago, we all had at great time.
I will cherish these memories forever.
Love and miss you buddy!
