I met Bill after joining the KWVA (Korean War Veterans Association) where he served as a chaplain. He was a former partner of my father on the Cincinnati Police department and we shared many memories of those days. There was a special connection there. Bill and I went down to the Police Museum in October of this year and I was glad to have been able to share that memorable time with him. He was a police officer where he served the city of Cincinnati. He was a Korean War Veteran and he fought for and served this great country of ours. He was a good friend and he will be missed. I am blessed to have known Bill. My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Bill.

I enjoyed the times we went to the Farm & share food with the Veterans from the Veterans Hospital. He would always say he liked my special baked beans. We kid each other about our Birthday's, both on the same day, but ten years apart.

It was a lot of fun taking Great Uncle Bill to Xavier basketball games. Lots of people would thank him for his service and he would love to talk to them about it. He even met Xavier player Jack Nunge after one of the games.
