Obituary of Beverly Ann Brausch
Beverly Ann Brausch (née Hehemann) left us on March 19, 2024, after a too-short 76 years. Bev was a devoted wife to her husband Tim, the best mother that her son Rick (Tracy) Vonder Brink and daughter Noelle (Clint) Schwartz could possibly want, and a best friend as well as a sister to Bonnie (the late Jerry) Federle. Her constant love, attention, and affection were focused on her grandkids, Grace and Hope Vonder Brink, and Brady, Blake, and Ben Schwartz. Bev was their constant babysitter when they were little and rarely missed a game, dance recital, or musical performance as they grew up. The grandkids were her pride and joy, and she could not have loved them any more than she did.
She was born in Cincinnati on August 9, 1947, to the late Carolyn and Harry Hehemann, to whom she and Bonnie remained incredibly close their entire lives. She was a proud 1965 graduate of Mother of Mercy High School, where she met many life-long friends.
Bev had effortless style and glamour, charming a room instantly. Her shopping trips were legendary, and her home was a constantly evolving testament to her taste and fashion sense. Her parties were perfectly planned and always featured far too much good food.
She loved travel, a good glass of wine, and making Tim rearrange the furniture. But her greatest love was for her family, and she was happiest when surrounded by the people who meant the most to her, including her nieces, nephews, and their kids. She cherished every moment that could be spent with them, especially the five grandkids.
Bev left us far too soon after a brief but tough fight with cancer. She will leave a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled, but our lives will be forever richer for her love.
Bev’s family will receive visitors on Monday, March 25 at St. Ignatius Church 5222 North Bend Rd, Cincinnati at 10:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:30 AM. Graveside services will be private, but her family invites anyone who wishes to celebrate Bev’s life to a reception at the Miami Township Community Center, 3780 Shady Lane, North Bend, Ohio from 1:00 PM to 5:00PM on March 25th.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Cincinnati, where Bev received gentle and compassionate care in her final days.
