I think of Bradley (my second cousin) as one who had a quick smile and a warm and affirming presence. He developed resilience in life by many experiences in his early life--the loss of his father at an early age, a brother that had special needs, going to Milton Hershey School to obtain his education and help his family, and his military service. I remember the Christmas holidays and reunions where we spent time with the Baumeister family. Later, as he and his siblings would come back to York for a visit, we usually had a family gathering to catch up on our lives. We maintained our Christmas letter contact for years1
