I really don’t know where to start. It’s a lot of memories I have. Well here it goes I will try not to cry because that’s something Mr John wouldn’t want me to do. When I first met Mr. John it was November 21,2021. I was his aide at Chesterwood where he reside. Mr.John, Matt, Barb, and Bry became my family and a lot of people I don’t call family but they were. When I worked they didn’t have to worry about their father/grandpa. I treat him like he was my father/grandpa I loved him unconditionally. I LOVED his sense of humor that he had. He was very stubborn and my co workers would say we know who he will listen to let’s go get Kelley when I didn’t work my unit. He would say you know what today is I would say yes sir Shower day. He would also say last name starts with B. Mr John shower days was Tuesdays and Fridays but I switched them because he would want to go to art class on Friday so I switched to Tuesdays and Thursdays just for him. We had a routine when I was there days I didn’t work. He would say well my aide Kelley does it this way. I’m not going to lie I had him very spoiled and I love that. I could go on and on about the memories I have with Mr John but I’ll leave some room for someone else that would like to share their memories the good times about him. Bry , Barb ,and Matt thank you for allowing me to take care of your father/grandpa thank you for becoming my family. I am really going to miss my stubborn silly old man. I love you guys and I promise to stay in touch.
