Richard, his wife used to babysit my children when I was going through a really bad divorce. They were like family. She would send home fresh baked bread because she made it every day. I love that family so much. I even did a clown birthday party for one of the girls, I cannot believe this. I can’t believe it’s true. He was the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. I wish I had met someone like that in my lifetime. To the family. I send my condolences. One of the most beautiful families I’ve ever met. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Mary, Sarah, Kelly, Matt & Nick,
Our friendship is strong to consider all of you as part of our family. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn with you thinking of Rich and the life well lived.
We send a special message to all 8 grandchildren that he loved so much. Your Pappy was a role model in living life and thought you should know this:
Care - it was important to him how others were doing and if he could help. He did not talk about it, he did it. He would cut grass, shovel snow, even helped me set a tile floor.
Coach - he was a teacher to especially young people. Whether it was basketball or how to calculate mortgage payments in buying a house, your Pappy was teaching.
Personality - jokes and smiles were his DNA. You were always engaged with Pappy and glad you saw him because it was always a great time.
Everyone adored your Pappy for these and other reasons. He will be missed by the Ferrari Family. With great love,

Rich was such a kind loving neighbor of mine. He would let us play on the street as kids, opened up his home to us, babysat us a few times, and let us be the kids we were. I will always remember him taking care of his lawn, walking his dog, and sitting out on the porch with his lovely wife Mary. He would wave as I drove down the road, say a kind word on his nightly walks, and stop to talk with the neighbors on the street. It was clear, he cared more about others, and put them ahead of himself. And that is admirable beyond words. Rich you were, and will always be a great neighbor. I will forever remember you, and think of those days out there in the neighborhood.

Mr. Ambrose was such a kind and loving person, always with a warm smile that could brighten anyone's day. He had a caring nature and was genuinly interested in your life.
I'll never forget when I would see him he would ask how Steven Weaver was and would shared stories that brought joy and laughter. One story he would always tell when he saw me or my family was when he coached me in basketball. During a timeout I told Mr. Ambrose I was really upset because a girl on the court was pushing me. He said to me, "Rachel, push her right back!" He would always laugh while sharing this story!
Mr. Ambrose touched so many lives with his positivity and compassion. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy of kindness will live on in the memories we cherish and in his family.
