Dear Trebbi family, We are so sorry to hear of George's passing. I knew him as Dr. Trebbi from Xavier, but also knew him as George from my father, Bruce Rotte. My dad always spoke so fondly of their time growing up together in Cincinnati, and then again at Kenwood Country Club once we moved back to Cincinnati. I always enjoyed hearing about the Purcell luncheons and all their great times at KCC. We know the deep void that is left with George's passing, and we hope that your family will find peace in the happy memories and in celebrating George's enduring legacy. We feel that my dad was waiting to greet George in Heaven the moment he arrived. My mom and I and my husband, Murali, will be thinking of your family during this terribly sad and difficult time. To the Trebbi Family, Sending our deepest condolences for your loss. Grandpa Trebbi was always very kind and generous to our family. He always had open arms while welcoming us into his home when we visited and treated us as if we were his own family. We were very fortunate to be able to participate in Christmas and Thanksgiving celebrations in his home that were filled with love and laughter. We will always cherish the times we spent with Grandpa Trebbi and the entire family. Our hearts go out to Addy, Aubrey, Gianna and Gavin for your loss. We send our hugs and prayers to everyone. No one in your family knows me, but I remember George fondly and am sorry to learn of his death. We were classmates at Nativity School in the 1950s. He was kind and funny. Coming into the class as a new student in sixth grade, I appreciated both qualities. May God receive George into eternal joy and bless you all with consolation.
