Obituary of Marilyn G. Harper

HARPER Marilyn Grace (nee Hill), Mason, Ohio, December 1, 1930 - July 29, 2024 Beloved wife of 39 years to the late Robert C. Harper. Dear daughter of the late Raymond V. Hill and Velma Mae Hill. Dear sister of the late Paul V. Hill (Ruth). Cherished mother of Douglas R. Harper (Pam) and Joan K. Schomburg (Tony). Devoted grandmother to Brian Bish (Natalie), Sarah Gilmer (Joel), Kathryn Jacks (Carey), Marcus Schomburg (Brooke), Kyle Harper (Julie Koenig), and Derek Harper. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Luther Bish, James Bish, Hudson Gilmer, Graham Gilmer and Eden Schomburg. Marilyn leaves behind many nieces and nephews who knew and loved her well. Marilyn was born in Owensville, Ohio and passed away following a stroke at the age of 93 on Monday July, 29* at The Landing Of Long Cove in Mason where she had lived and enjoyed her senior life for over 8 years. Marilyn was a homemaker who devoted her life to her husband and children. She also attended Wilmington College and the University of Cincinnati attaining her Bachelor's Degree in Business and Child Care. She was a founding member of the former Kenwood Christian Church. She enjoyed swimming, traveling, dining out and spending time with her family who were her greatest love in life. Her family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, August 3'" from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with Christian service to follow. Pastor Brian Bish will officiate. The interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Blue Ash, Ohio.
