Julie, I'm so sorry to hear of Kim's death. You probably are unaware that Kim & my brother Nick Ranieri were best friends in high school, Kim & I spoke whenever we saw each other when we both worked at Jewish Hospital. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

RIP Kim. I always looked up to him. Family friends for many years from our Wonder Years neighborhood. I took guitar lessons from Kim for a couple of years. I'm sure our parents lined that up. He was very patient dealing with a young drummer kid trying to play guitar. I looked forward each week to be able to just sit down and hang with Kim. We'd talk rock and roll for most of the lesson then back to learning the same 3 chords it seems. So here's to music, C, D, and G and the patient guy that taught me these fundamentals. Thoughts go to family and friends.

Growing up in Charter Oaks in Cincinnati we had lots of great neighbors. But l remember Kim's family as one of my favorites. My Mom Jean Schuppert was best friends with Kim's Mom Harriet...to the point of my brother Scott and l called her Aunt Harriet. I babysat Samantha and Julie was one year ahead of me in high school. Kim was the extremely talented music god of the neighborhood! I remember being so excited to be able to hear him play down in his bedroom! Those are some wonderful memories! My heart goes out to all of his family.

Dear Julie, I'm so sorry to see that Kim passed away earlier this week. It's amazing that I even saw the obituary, as I was actually looking for someone else when I saw Kim's name. I'm shocked and saddened as he was way to young to leave this world. I think of you often and hope you are doing well. My prayers are with the family.. Love to all, Debbie Burke.

Kim - its been many years since we were last together, but I thought of you only a few weeks back, playing your guitar and laughing. I'll hold the memory more dearly now, for you and all your family. Julie, I am very sorry for your loss. Doug.
