My deepest condolences to Burt's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and all the other friends he leaves behind. I met Burt in 1997 and credit him with my love of chilled water plants. To me, Burt was "father pump", and being known to friends and colleagues who knew us both as "sonny pump" was one of the highest compliments I ever received. Burt, I'll miss you and our talks.
