MAUCH
Marion (Eberle) Mauch, 88, died August 25th, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Verona (Luichinger) Eberle and the late Leo Charles Eberle, both of Cincinnati, Ohio. Marion is survived by three sons, Jonathan (Janice) of Cincinnati, Peter (Barbara) of Boston, MA, and David (Beth) of Amesbury, MA, four grandchildren, Jennifer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Natalia and Julian of Boston, MA, and William C. of Amesbury, MA. Her husband of 61 years, William A. Mauch, and also her brother, Lee Eberle, of Cincinnati, Ohio, preceded her in death. Marion was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended Clifton Elementary School, Walnut Hills High School, and the University of Cincinnati. While raising three sons, she also hosted American Field Service (AFS) students from five countries. She served on the Indian Hill Secondary PTA boards, was President and Vice President of the Women's Guild of the Indian Hill Church, and worked as a lab technician for several area hospitals. She was a member of the Cincinnati Women's Club and enjoyed painting as a member of the Hilltop Artists of College Hill. Marion also was a volunteer at the Cincinnati Nature Center for over 20 years, leading a variety of adult and children's groups, and served on the Nature Center's Board of Trustees for six years. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Monday, September 16th from 4:30 pm through 7:30 pm at the Indian Hill Church, 6000 Drake Road. A private burial service will have already been held.
