DAVIS
Harry J., Jr., beloved husband of 67 years of Phyllis F. (nee Stallman),
cherished father of Michael J. (Mary Jo) Davis, Susan Y. Davis and Mark C.
Davis, devoted grandfather of Jennifer (Michael) Grimmett, Christine (Brad)
Clark, Stephanie (Lyle) Amann Winokur and Daniel J. Amann, dear
great-grandfather of Audrey and Michael Grimmett, Landon Clark and Donovan J.
Amann, passed away on Wednesday, January 16th at the age of 87. A favorite of
children, Harry was a joke and story-teller extraordinaire, a music lover, and a
train and plane enthusiast. He was in the 5th Air Force during WWII and was a 60
year member of the Oakley Masonic Lodge #668. He worked as the Vice President of
Sales for Superior Lumber and later worked at Silverton Hardware. He made us
smile for 87 years. He will always be loved, remembered fondly, and greatly
missed. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 22nd
from 12 noon with F&AM # 668 service at 12:45pm followed by the funeral service
starting at 1:00 PM all at Trinity Community Church where he was a member for 61
years, 3850 E. Galbraith Rd. (45236). Interment will immediately follow at Rest
Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the
National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation (NLMS Foundation), 2843 E. Grand River #230,
East Lansing, MI (48823). Condolences may be shared with the family through our
