It was such a blessing to have known Mrs Garten. On our last visit we found her in the Dining area having lunch. Her eyes lit up when she spotted George walking towards her table. Right away she began talking about her two sons,Dave and Alan.
Time had not dulled her awarness of things. Her mind was sharp and she could talk without pausing to think over what she had on her mind.
We were looking forward to her 100thbirthday in June when we would pay her another surprise visit.
She will be missed but we know that she is in a better place.
