Many years ago (over 50, in fact) two Roses became mothers - to two girls, who would as women, become best friends. Each friend, forwarded life amongst petals and some thorns. And together they made it through. After many years of supporting so many petals, the stems of the two Roses became tired and wanted rest. The two friends knew it was time to say goodbye to their matriarch Rose. And together they made it through. And together they saw something stayed of their Rose. Roots. Strong roots, which will bring more Roses and more girls to grow to be women & best friends. And they, together, will all make it through.
This is dedicated to some lovely Roses - the offshoots of matriarch Rose Bailey. (And Rose C.)
