Janette and family, We have been praying for you all since we heard last week of Uncle Jim's condition. Please find some comfort in all the good memories, especially of the times at the old farm in Indiana. Also find comfort in knowing that he is in a much better place now, happy, pain free and with Jimmy and Sue. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much Love, Randy and Karyn Weber, (Stross)

Please accept our condolences, as we were greatly saddened to hear of Jim's passing. It was always a happy occasion to see Jim, and he inspired most everyone that he met. He was a true example of how to enjoy life and especially family. We all will miss him.

Dear Jeanette and family, Nancy and I are out of town this week and will not be able to attend Jim's funeral. We want you to know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I remember the first time I met Jim, It was at Mary Ann and Bob's wedding. I was very young then but remember Jim well. He was a great story teller and always had a good story to tell. He always had a great smile and made everyone feel comfortable and at home. We will all miss him! Ed & Nancy

I had the privilege of knowing Jim for twenty-five years. He was a fine husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim was also one of the greatest trial lawyers I have ever seen. And, according to what he told me more than once, Jim was Costa Rica's greatest jockey since in that country, the jockey had to carry the horse, and he was the only jockey big enough to do it. Humor was one of the best parts of Jim Heath. I'm proud that he was my friend. I will miss him.

Heath family, I know this time for you is a very difficult one, you have suffered more loss in a year than any family should have to endure. Please know that our family grieves with you and your family, because we too suffer the loss as well. Mr. Heath has been one of the hidden forces behind my personal and professional success. I remember the stories he used to tell us when we were growing up, stories like “Huck Finn” and that darn White fence. I am where I am today because Mr. Heath had as much an influence on my life as my grandparents did and still do. Mr. Heath taught me that an education will get me where I want to be. After a 24 year career in the Marines I finally finished my Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I graduate in July of next year with my Master’s degree in Administration of justice and security. I tell you this because Mr. Heath convinced me that I could do it, he convinced me that I could do anything I wanted to do as long as I had an education. I sometimes wonder if he had any idea what affect he had on my life. I never got a chance to tell him thank you for the words of encouragement, and thank you for making me feel like I was just as important as the next guy. My last name is not Heath but I certainly feel the sting in my heart of the loss of a man that was just as important in my life as a father. I will celebrate and honor his life by continuing on with my educational goals, and live an honorable life just as he did. His work here is done and our father in heaven is waiting for him with his reward. Rejoice knowing we all had the distinct honor and pleasure of knowing such a great and selfless man. May God bless and keep you… Harold Rowland 1stSgt. USMC ( Ret.)

I so enjoyed reading Mr. Heath's obituary. Although I have not met him, I am good friends with Mike and Barb and have heard so much about him throughout the years. I know of all the time Mike and his brothers spent together with their father and each other, and I know his absence will be a sadness. I never knew he was a pharmacist or played baseball, although I often heard Mike talk proudly of how he was huge in establishing soccer in the Cincinnati area. My heart is with all of you at this sad time.
