I just learned about Maureen's death and was so deeply saddened hearing the tragic news. She was indeed such a special lady. She always had a great recommendation about an Avon product she thought would best meet your needs. I looked forward to talking to her on the phone or when she made a delivery....and yes, she even brought cookies and brownies with some of her deliveries. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Dear Brian, Dave, Eileen, Tom, Rosemary, and Family, So sorry for your sudden loss of a good woman. I'm sure you and your parents were proud of the person she grew to be. I think it is ironic but appropriate that she wound up next to Elmer for eternity to be teased that her black tights were dirty legs. I used to make my rounds through Gate of Heaven to Grandma and Grandpa O'Gallagher, Mom and Dad, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Margie, Great and Grandparent Zinneckers for my boys, and ended at Grandma Jule and Grandpa George, and Great Uncle Elmer. It is fitting that the grave site go to Maureen, she was a great resident of Montgomery and I'm sure a good Sister and Aunt. She got some cookie recipes from me from our family a while back, hope you liked them. Love and Condolenses to All, Jean, Joe, and Jon

Maureen called into Avon Customer Service, and from time to time, I had the pleasure of speaking with her. She was always pleasant, and kind, and was a pleasure to assist. We will be missing her. Unfortunately, I never got to enjoy her wonderful baked goods, but I know a lot of others did, and I am sure they loved them. Our thoughts are with you and the entire family. Sorry to have lost her.

To the Ross and Bechtold families, I am so very sorry for the tremendous loss of Maureen. I will always remember her to be the most full-of-life, caring and genuine people I know. You will always be with us in spirit and you have truly touched so many. Amy Novello Ullman and family

Maureen was a very unique and special friend and sister to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. She was always so bubbling and eager to offer suggestions and give help to her sisters. We actually referred to Maureen as "The Cookie Lady". She always came to the club bearing items she had baked. She was loved and respected by many and she will be deeply missed. Until we meet again our sister, you will remain in our prayers.

Maureen was a one of a kind, wonderful, caring, thoughtful, funny and loving person. She is my cousin and sister. I remember very well our last conversation, in my mom's kitchen (Aunt Edna). Like always, she asked how the kids were doing. She loved all the kids dearly. Her nieces and nephews were her world. She was like an aunt to my kids and Mark's kids. She was a fixture at Mark's annual Super bowl party. Everyone loved to see her and loved the cookies and brownies she made. They were the best I've ever had. We laughed about old times (especially tag with Diane's Barbie head), and of course she brought chocolate chip cookies...still warm. Brian,Dave,Eileen,Tom and Rose, you know how much I love you all and I am so sorry. I can only take comfort in the fact she is with your mom and dad, my dad (Uncle Jim), Grandma Ross and the rest of the gang. None of us were ready for this. We now have a true guardian angel to watch over us. I love you Maureen and I will miss you dearly.
