I have known Charlie for quite a long time now. I spent many years cutting his grass for him. I knew that I had to make sure I allowed myself time to visit when I was done because he always made sure that I would come in and visit long enough for him to tell a few jokes. He has always been very good to me and my children. My kids would get bags of candy left on the front porch from him as a gift for the Holidays. I thought of him as my family. His passing makes me very sad, however I know he is in a better place now.
