The only thing I can remember about Mr. Schmidt was a hard working man, who loved his wife and family, and always had a smile on his face. Not a bad way to leave out of this world! So sorry for your loss Schmidt family.

Chrissy and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I was reading a scripture and I want to share it with you. God Finishes what he Starts "...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion unitl the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6. I love this thought. I hope this will make you smile and just know that your dad is with our Lord.

I loved how Jack called Tiffany "Moon Pie" when she was little; because she had chubby cheeks. Wow, can you imagine what a wonderful world it would be if all Dads/Grandpas were like Jack.

Grandpa would always sing, hum, or whistle to the radio. He was great at it too. It used to drive Gloria Ann nuts, she would always get mad and tell him to stop. Grandpa would act like he didnt hear her and keep on whistling. I would crack up laughing. Even typing this now it makes me laugh. You always made me smile grandpa, thank you.
love, Mary Kay.

Mr. Schmidt, going to miss you! My advice to you is to sit back relax and drink a few cold beers while your waiting on the rest of to join you. I'm sure the good Lord makes a mean brew :)

My favorite time spent with grandpa is sitting on their front porch during a storm and just watching the storm roll in, talking about everything or nothing. I always felt safe and loved in his presence.

Dear Grandpa- Thank you for everything. My best memories were when I was little and I was the baby in the house. I would ask you to read me Green Eggs and Ham probably 10 times a nite after you had worked all day. No matter how many times I asked you would say ok , one more time.
