HAAKE
Edward M. “Pop”, beloved husband of the late Ruth “Mimi” (nee Jacob), devoted father of Kathleen (Robert) Helling, Colleen (Dan) Dannenfelser, cherished grandfather of Melissa (Blaine) Adams, Christopher (Tami) Helling, Scott (Jeanette) Dannenfelser, Greg Helling, Casey Dannenfelser, Eric (Jill) Dannenfelser, loving great-grandfather of 15, dear brother of Shirley (Matt) Schira, Florence McGraw, and the late June Tolbert, brother-in-law of Tony Jacob, Paul (Sandy) Jacob, the late Rita Jacob, Clyde (Lorraine) Jacob and Annette Jacob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ed enlisted in the Navy in 1941, and served in both the European and Pacific Theaters in the U.S. Naval Armed Guard. Passed away on Friday, June 2nd at the age of 96. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7th from 5-8PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd (45236) Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 10AM at Church of the Nativity, 5935 Pandora Ave. (45212) Pleasant Ridge. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
