I want to extend my heartfelt condolences in a belated message to the family and friends of Kent Koerner. He was a friend of my father Bill Meerpohl in the 60's.Mr Koerner had a brief but lasting impact on my life. He was the man and mentor that taught me firearm safety in an NRA sponsored class in 1959, took me on my first hunting trips, I fished with him on a couple of occasions and his love and attitude he expressed towards his family as well as life itself was inspirational to me. My father passed away in 1964 and luckily with the values bestowed upon me by my father and his friends like Kent Koerner I was able to weather that storm and look at life in a positive way.

Brother Kent made your time with him well worth every minute. He was quick to respond when a good laugh was in order and his smile was one of his many notable features. We wish for his family peace in the knowledge that Brother Kent has served well and now receives his reward. Sincerely, Tony and Polly
