Obituary of Patti McLaughlin

Patti Ann McLaughlin, born November 24, 1964 @Lockbourne AFB, Columbus, Ohio passed away on May 20, 2012 at University Hospital Cincinnati, Ohio after a valiant fight to remain with her beloved husband Thomas Glascock. Surviving with Tommy are Patti's mother Kay Carter, father Jack (Marsha) McLaughlin, brother, Michael (Carol) Crabtree and sister Barbi (Bill) Miller-McDaniel, Sister-in-law Patricia (Carl) Haddox, nieces Tracy, Stacy, Miranda and Nicole (and their families), Aunt Pat Ross, cousins Kim, Bob and Kathy (and their families) and many too numerous to name who loved her deeply. Patti was proceeded in death by Grandparents Clarence and Kathleen Donley Carter, Frank and Rebecca Buchman McLaughlin and Tommy's parents Jane and William Glascock. Patti graduated from Groveport Madison High School, Bauder Fashion College, GA, Rio Grande University, Rio Grande, OH, and was earning her Masters in English/Literature at Ohio State University. Patti (a teacher at heart) taught many people so many things and the world is better for having had her in it. Her heart was the purest heart ever known to her husband and is irreplaceable. Donations in her name may be directed to SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) research at Children's Hospital, Columbus, OH under the direction of Dr. Brian Kaspars. A Celebration of Life was held June 3rd attended by 153 friends and family.
