Obituary of Lejoe "Joe" Holmes Bobbitt

Lejoe "Joe" Holmes Bobbitt, beloved husband of 64 years of LaMargaret (nee Pinson) Bobbitt, devoted father of Joe Edward (Nancy) Bobbitt, Barbara Anne Bobbitt and the late Bianne Lee Bobbitt. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth Whitney Bobbitt and Curran Alexander Bobbitt.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Duane and Eula Estelle (nee Holmes) Bobbitt and his brother Randall Edgar Bobbitt.  Passed away on Friday, May 11th at the age of 91, in his home in Indian Hill, Ohio.  He was born in Gleason, TN. Joe served in the United States Army, and is a veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of Louisiana State University.  Starting at the Milan (TN) Arsenal he then transferred with Proctor and Gamble to Cincinnati where after a 34 year career as an industrial engineer he retired in 1985. Visitation will be held at Joe and Margaret’s church of 62 years, St. Paul United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 16th from 5:00 pm to the time of funeral service at 6:30 pm, 8221 Miami Ave. (45243).  There will be another visitation in Joe’s hometown of Gleason, TN, on Saturday May 19th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at William’s Funeral Home, 429 S. Cedar St. (38229). Interment will take place at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, TN.  In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
