Dear Aunt Ruth, We were so sorry to hear about Bill. He was such a sweet man, and we all loved him so much. I still remember when you visited us at Mama's in Oct. 1992 - We really enjoyed getting to know Bill and I'll always remember how he shared how he came to Christianity. Bill was a blessing to so many people, and I am especially impressed with the love and respect all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have for him. What a legacy that he has left! We love you - Beth

I met Bill in very recent years from his daily Mass attendance at St. Gertrude and socially at the Kroger "coffee club" gatherings in the early mornings. What a fine blessing to me to have met and made friends with such an outstanding man. With his humility there is so much I did not know about his life. I now wish that I had known more so as to have spoken to him about it. He was certainly an admirable individual and one, I suspect, in whom God is well pleased.
