Our family is so thankful to be part of the Jurgensen Companies. We will miss Jim Sr dearly, especially at the company picnic. I am truly saddened by your great loss. My Dad and my brothers and my nephews have all worked with the Jurgensen family at various times. Our family name is the Adkins Trucking company owned and operated by Charles E Adkins and later by my brother John C. Adkins, with younger nephews coming behind. The Jurgenson name was very commonly spoken in our home and was spoken of fondly. Thank you for your families' honesty in business as you are much respected. I pray that peace and love of Jesus Christ will comfort all of you during this very difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Jurgensen (Lucky), Jim Jr., and the entire Jurgensen Family,
It was with great sadness when I learned of Mr. Jurgensen's passing. I considered it a privilege to have served on the Board of Directors of Flexible Pavements with him. Despite his success as a Highway Contractor and Businessman he never forgot his roots and was passionate for the Industry, a leader in Legislative relationships, and I would see him attending Technical Seminars at Flexible Pavements or the World of Asphalt. His passion for continued education was evident and I am sure this was his way to stay ahead of his competition. I was honored to have known your husband, father, and grandfather and would enjoy our conversations and experiences he had from working as a laborer, superintendent, to setting the vision and direction that has made the Jurgensen Companies what they are today.
With deepest sympathy,
Wayne and Debbie Brassell

Dear Linda, Jim II, Jason, Jackie, and Grandchildren,
We are very sorry for your loss. Jim Sr. was one of those very unique individuals, the One in a Million. My favorite memory of Jim is he loved to make people laugh with his drama and comments.
I have known Jim for 37 years. During all those years I felt I was getting an education by watching what Jim did and the decisions he made. I always tried to think like Jim in all my decisions.
When I would tell Jim about one of my recent accomplishments, he would say great, but next time we will try for a little more. Jim was always setting the bar a little higher, which made him successful in life and in business.
One of Jim's favorite things was to see was a new creative solution to a problem. Jim would get excited about an attachment or new equipment built by the shop, or a modification to produce more or faster.
Jim will be deeply missed by his personal family and his company family. Our thoughts and prayers are for you.
Sincerely, Dale and Caroline Abbott & Family
